I wanted to create a set of patterns that are interesting to make with lots of variety in the stitching and colours. I selected a random collection of shapes including squares, circles, triangles and stripes and experimented with different layouts until I was happy that I'd created a coordinating set of three small wall hanging patterns. These designs will brighten up any dull wall in your home. They can be hung together, in a row, or separately. I've used a selection of bright contrasting colours but you could change the colours to complement your home decor.
I've added some textured areas to the designs with the addition of brick stitch, zigzag stitch and a diamond stitch. The rest of the pattern is stitched with straight stitch.
The purchased download includes a list of everything you need to create this beautiful wall hanging for your home. To get you started here is my list of the recommended Appletons 4 ply tapestry wool codes and quantities required to create all three patterns.
