This is my favourite design so far, the finished piece hangs in pride of place in my sitting room. I loved it so much that I adopted the Annular Circle (ring shape) as my logo. It's stitched with 4 ply tapestry wools onto 18 hpi mono needlepoint canvas. The colours have a modern feel with a retro twist. The grey, white and deep blue of the background are very much a modern trend but the colours for the circles are influenced by 1970's design. The finished wall hanging measures 6 x 30 inches / 15 x 76 cm. The background is stitched in long stitch, the Annular circles are brick stitch, the purple circles are zigzag stitch.
